Ian's Life

Ian was born in Elphinstone, just 12 miles from Edinburgh in Scotland 68 years ago in 1943

He was christened John Owen but of course his dad had that name so he was called Ian as a young boy growing up in Scotland.

For work his family came down to Coventry, lived in Yorke Street and then moved to Willenhall. Played Rugby at School, tried Judo later on. Great Coventry City Fan all his life.
Married young Trina Poole and started life in Richmond street not far from Highfield road the home of football. They had a daughter Gayle, "One Night of Passion" Ian used to always say!!!
First job saw Ian going to work on a bike...at Coventry Factors
Ian enjoyed Work, really enjoyed going to work, always had a smile for everyone and he whistled his way through the day.

Ian will always be remembered by everyone he met. His Grandson Lewis said "What a Great Man" I think Lewis got it just right don't you?
