South Staffordshire Water present award 24.03.07

At the recent suppliers dinner in Walsall, Sentridge Control were given a prestigeous award in recognition of service delivery under the DrivesAdvantage programme operated throughout the midlands.

The night was a great success and was well supported by both suppliers and South Staffs Water with an introduction to the night by Jack Carnell MD of SSW.

"The excellent service and the ability to always go that extra mile when needed was the difference that South Staffs so valued" said Jenny Marshall of South Staffordshire Water. "Glen Hickman has become our resident drives champion!"

Ben's Superstars Success

Ben Preston Superstars fund was swelled recently by a great team effort in meeting the famous three peaks challenge. A sum in excess of £25,000 was raised for charity.

ABB and Severn Trent Win Award

ABB and Severn Trent Water awarded for “Best Environmental Initiative of the Year”
2006-10-06 - ABB and Severn Trent Water have won the Electrical Industry Awards 2006 for “Best Environmental Initiative of the Year”, following an installation that reduced energy consumption by over £12,000 per annum at Severn Trent’s Wanlip Sewage Treatment Works in Leicestershire.
This is the second year running that ABB wins the environmental prize at the Electrical Industry Awards. Last year, the company claimed the prize for its replacement drives scheme, which aims to assess, replace and recycle variable speed drives from any manufacturer, improving reliability and energy efficiency.

Today Severn Trent Water commemorated the recent success in winning the prestigious “Best Environmental Initiative of the Year” presented at the Electrical Industry Awards 2006

Working with STW Energy team, Sentridge Control has worked with other members of the DrivesAdvantage team in supporting the delivery of the ABB Drive products locally to Severn Trent Water and to make the Energy saving programme come to life.
