Six years ago, the service side to our business was transformed thanks to the legendry ABB drive expert, Chris Billington, joining the Sentridge team.

Since joining us in 2017, Chris has revolutionised our service offering, helping us setup a dedicated ABB Drive Service Centre and delivering an outstanding maintenance and repair service for our customers across the Midlands.

Chris joined us from ABB, where he worked for over 20 years repairing ABB variable speed drives. His drive knowledge is probably the best in the UK and his reputation for delivering a quality service amongst the world of ABB Drives is second to none.

The time has come for Chris to enjoy a well-earned retirement and hand over the IGBT’s to his young prodigy Chris Houghton (or young Chris as he is known )

Over the past 2 years Chris senior has been passing on his drive knowledge and expertise to young Chris who has thrived under this tuition. We have every confidence our Service Centre will continue to deliver the outstanding service we have become known for.

Chris will be sorely missed, but he can relax on the edge of whatever pool he finds himself fishing at, knowing his legacy will continue.
