At Sentridge, we recognise that the strength of any thriving business lies in its dedicated team. We are truly grateful for the commitment of our existing team members, and as we look ahead, we are thrilled to see our team’s continued growth and success.

Joining us recently is Garen Hughes, who initially started with us on a temporary basis in Sales Support. With his determination and contributions, Garen quickly carved out a permanent role for himself within just a few months. A graduate from Derby University with a degree in Civil Engineering, Garen sought an opportunity in an engineering environment for work experience. He expresses his satisfaction with the progress and development opportunities at Sentridge, highlighting the supportive environment that has helped him flourish.

Outside of the office, Garen enjoys football and gaming.

We are also delighted to welcome Will Thompson as our apprentice Electrical Engineer. Will, who completed his schooling with successful GCSE results in June 2023, decided to follow in his father Shaun’s footsteps in the field of electrical engineering by embarking on an apprenticeship journey with Sentridge. Apprenticeships are fundamental to the UK industry, playing a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the country’s skillsets.

Will joins an established group of apprentices, including Ian and Liam, as well as James, who started with us as an apprentice and has since become one of our most experienced on-site Electrical Engineers.

Away from the office, Will enjoys following his favourite football team, Stoke City. As a season ticket holder, he tries to attend most games, including away matches—sometimes even venturing overseas. When not cheering on Stoke City, Will stays active by maintaining a fitness routine at the gym.

We are confident that Garen and Will will contribute significantly to the continued success and growth of Sentridge, and we are thrilled to have them on board. Welcome to the team!
