The new ACS 880 and ACS 800 family of drives from ABB have proved themselves as a sound investment, by being recognised under the Governments Enhanced Capital Scheme (ECA) and added to its Energy Technology List (ETL).
The Government introduced the ECA scheme as part of its campaign to reduce carbon emissions. Under the scheme UK businesses can apply for tax relief on investments made in energy saving equipment.
The ETL compiled by the Government will only list equipment which has proved its energy saving capabilities and it is testament to ABB and its latest drive innovations that on the 1 August it was announced that the following products had been added to the ETL list:
- ACS880-01 – whole range ACS880Family
- ACS880-04 – whole range
- ACS880-07 – whole range
- ACS800-17LC – whole range
- ACS800-37LC – whole range
